In our post-crisis era, the recesionista trend equates luxury with minimalism and the over-use of logos with vulgarity, a heavy trend yet a superficial one. The truth is, minimalism is not a good fit for all brands, and a logo has never been more valuable : it’s a landmark sign and a sign of quality in a world that’s looking for meaning and transparency, and it conveys value(s).

 

Yet a lot of great houses are losing themselves, by neglecting the importance of a singular logo… The « no design » approach might remedy the blandness of minimalism without falling into mere decoration ?
